Ironbuilt Infrastructure has been engaged by Essential Energy as Principal Contractor to deliver the Bermagui Zone Substation Upgrade in regional NSW. This project forms part of Essential Energy’s ongoing investment in the reliability and longevity of its distribution network across the South Coast.
Working within an existing live substation environment, the Ironbuilt team is managing demolition, civil construction and reinstatement works to upgrade the facility to current standards.
Scope of works includes:
- Demolition of existing structures
- Bench earthworks and compound construction
- Footings and reinforced concrete structures
- Fencing and boundary works
- Earthing installation
- Conduits and pits
- Stormwater pipes and drainage structures
- Surface aggregates and finishing works
